It is the policy of OneChild that all travelers* are required to complete a criminal background check to ensure the protection of the children in our programs. Trip participation is contingent upon the results of the background check. Each traveler is required to pay the $24, nonrefundable, non-tax-deductible fee to the third party vendor, ScreeningOne. *Please contact OneChild if one of the following is true: 1. If you have traveled with OneChild in the last calendar year to see if your background check will still be valid for your upcoming trip. 2. If you are currently under the age of 18, but will be 18 by the date of travel, we will need your parents to sign a consent form allowing OneChild to do a background check.
